Autumn Delights

Kitty on a prettily spooky porch taken on our trip to Eureka Springs last week

It's turned out to be a quiet week here on the little blog, but that doesn't mean I haven't been working! I've been preparing some larger paintings and also it is fall break, and I've got a little one at home with me for most of the week.

The weather has turned cooler for the moment and we're getting into the spirit of the season--- putting fake headstones in the flower garden, and baking yummy things.
I made this rustic apple pie this evening and featured it over on the What Would Ma Ingalls Do blog. I've had sort of a change in focus over at that little blog....It will still keep its Ma Ingalls flair, but also be a little more about modern life on the prairie and a bit of suburban homesteading. I thought it was still very much in the vein of what Ma was about, so I hope you'll come on over and take a look :) I even gave it a fresh make over!

I have a new painting to share with you soon too! It's a winter painting and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out! So come back soon!~

    Blessings to your day,

  8. Oh, that pie looks really delicious. Perfect dessert for fall! Love that photo of the black cat. We've had a black cat coming to visit us every so often. I've called her Jinxy. LOL I think she lives in the neighborhood - even though she always wants to come into our house. :) I feed her tuna!
