Sleightholm Folk Art now at Blue Heron Mercantile!

Thanks to a love for old timey things and kindred spirit magic, I've come to sell some of my art at a local shop, Blue Heron Antiques and Mercantile. When I was at their open house a few weeks ago I met some of the most intersting and 'kindred' spirit people that I was so relieved to find even 'way out here' in Oklahoma! I've loved this shop for years--- and it's a one of a kind oasis of early Americana out here on the prairie.
Carol and Missy, the mother/daughter duo who run the shop, are so lovely and so knowledgeable about Early American antiques. Carol, who's had this shop for over 35 years now, makes several trips 'back east' throughout the year to collect unique pieces of history that you can have in your home!

I had several pieces at their Open House last month (which was, amaaaazing!) and am bringing in more pieces as things sell. I've even got my yarns there so you can see it and squish it in person. I'm so thrilled to even have my things in the building, and if you're into 'old timey things' I know you'll love it too.
They have items such as salt glaze pottery, pie safes, tables and chairs, wool rug making supplies, hutches, tables, trunks, and all sorts of smaller objects that are so unique such as butter molds, cranberry harvesters and crockery.
You can find Blue Heron in Jenks, OK. which is on the south side of Tulsa. they're just off the Creek Turnpike on 111th street, on beautiful country acreage but still just minutes away from downtown Jenks shopping.
hey, maybe I'll even see you there! I'll be the one petting and cuddling the antique cupboards with stars in my eyes!~

  1. Dear Heather,

Thank you so much for coming by to visit; I've been so bad at getting around Blogland since my last-born was born! Congratulations on selling your art and yarn locally; you are so talented, you deserve the opportunity. May this new endeavor be blessed!

    Love,
